Australia, the smallest continent in the world located at the Southern Hemisphere, has become a country known for its tourist attractions. It is filled with wonderful spots both architectural and natural. As a continent surrounded by the Pacific, Indian, and Southern oceans, Australia stands still despite the nearness of other continents such as Asia.

Its capital is Canberra with Sydney being the largest city. Their form of government is constitutional monarchy or the federal system with Elizabeth II as the queen and John Howard as the current prime minister.

In 2006, the population is estimated to have grown to more than 20 million people. Sydney has the most number of people.
